Creating a Matching Constraint
The following enhancements are available for this command:
  • When using the Diffusion option, specifying the Free continuity at the opposite surface edge or curve end point now provides a matching result without any continuity kept at the opposite surface edge or curve end point.
  • The new Target Opposite options let you also specify individual continuities to be kept at the opposite edge or end point of the target. You must select the Mean or Extension options in addition to the Diffusion option.
  • The options to maintain continuity at the opposite end points or edges are now available in the Source Opposite area containing the Max. list specifying the maximum continuity to be kept and the Applied label indicating the continuity actually set which, for example, informs you if the selected continuity could not be kept due to an invalid order value.
  • You can now select the opposite continuity in the work area using the context menu of the continuity labels that appear on the opposite source surface edge or curve end point when the Diffusion option is selected, and, for Target Opposite, additionally the Mean and Extension options are selected.
The actually kept continuity is marked with two asterisks.
