Layout Tools

Cutting Plane

Cuts the 3D background of layout views along each view's definition plane.

Using the Cutting Plane

Display Backgrounds as Specified for Each View Displays the 2D and 3D backgrounds as specified for each view.

Managing the Layout View Background

Show Constraints Lets you visualize existing constraints.    Layout Tools
Display View Frame as Specified for Each View Lets you display the view frame which is available for each view, as specified in each view's properties. Layout Tools
Analysis Display Mode Lets you visualize different types of dimensions (for example, dimensions driving 2D geometry and true dimensions) using a specific color for each. Layout Tools

Update

Menu Commands

File > Print Lets you print 2D layout data of the 2D window with advanced 2D print functions (multi-sheets management, document print area management, etc).
By default, this command is available from the 3D window. As 2D layout data may also be visualized in this window, it is possible to print 2D layout data from the 3D window.
Printing a Layout
Start > Mechanical Design > Drafting Lets you create a drawing from a layout.
Note: From the Drafting workbench, you can also generate a view from 2D Layout for 3D Design in browsing configuration, using View from 3D .
Creating Drawings and Drawing Views from a Layout
Start > Infrastructure >  Product Data Filtering Lets you filter the data and creates another copy of the data with filter. See Product Data Filtering user's guide

Set As Current Sheet Sets the selected sheet as current. 2DL data of this sheet will be displayed in the 2D window. Setting a Sheet as Current
Activate Sheet Sheet Activates the sheet.
The sheet is set as current if not already. This displays the construction elements and the axis system of the sheet. As a consequence, construction elements and the axis systems of the background and view are no longer displayed.

Hide in 3D/Show in 3D Layout

Activates or deactivates the display of the layout, sheets or views in the 3D window.
If the layout is hidden, no sheet or view is displayed in 3D.

Activate Print Area/Deactivate Print Area Sheet Activates or deactivates the sheet print area on the selected sheets.
If the current sheet is the selected sheet, the Edit print area command is launched and you can define the print area using the manipulators.
Printing a Layout
Edit Print Area Sheet Reframes on the area of the sheet that will be printed and lets you modify it.
This command is accessible only if the current sheet is the selected sheet and if the sheet's print area is activated.
