Switching to the View Plane

You can sketch a curve, manipulate it and switch the view to the initial plane.
Create a 3D shape containing a curve.

  1. From the Modification toolbar, click Modification .
    The Tools Palette appears.

  2. Click the curve.

  3. Modify the curve, say by erasing one of the ends.

  4. From the Tools Palette, click Plane View .

    You can also access this command by pressing Ctrl+Shift+X.

    The initial drawing view is applied to the curve.
