Routing Cables with ENOVIA V5

This section discusses how to query cables in the ENOVIA database. It explains how to work with ENOVIA V5 cable routes to fully or partially route a cable from one hanger to another, to validate cable routes, to delete cable routes, and add extra length to a cable route.

Routing behavior is affected by the options selected in the Electrical Cableway Routing tab (Tools - Options - Equipment & Systems - Electrical Cabling Discipline - Electrical Cableway Routing). Read the related task to familiarize yourself with the rules that affect routing. This is especially necessary for administrators because certain measures may need to be taken when building parts or defining attributes. The task is in the Customizing section under Customizing Settings.
