Highlighting Data in the Virtual Stacking

This task shows you how to highlight data in the 3D viewer from the Virtual Stacking dialog box.
Either work on the part where you have defined cells or open the VirtualStackingGA01.CATPart document.

  1. Highlight a row (ply or sequence) in the 2D viewer of the Virtual Stacking dialog box.
    Multi-selection is available, although overlapping areas may exist in the authoring window.
    The corresponding cells in the authoring window are highlighted, in the ply or sequence orientation color.

  2. Highlight a column (stacking area or cell) in the 2D viewer.
    Multi-selection is available.
    The corresponding cells in the authoring window are highlighted, in a random color different from that of the ply orientation.

  3. Select the name in the 2D viewer to highlight the complete stacking area.
