Displaying a View

You can display view/annotation planes or captures.
  • Open an existing 3D shape containing view/annotation planes.
  • Select the Track history of displayed views and captures option in Tools > Options > Mechanical Design > Functional Tolerancing & Annotation > Display tab, Tree area.
  1. Right-click a view/annotation plane in the specification tree and select Display View.
    The view/annotation plane is displayed parallel to the screen, oriented according to its normal and reframed on the view/annotation plane content. When a Display Area has been defined, this one is used to display the view/annotation plane. For more information, see Capturing the Display Area.

    • The view/annotation plane is now the active one. The active view is highlighted with a blue background in the specification tree.
    • Its annotation set, all its annotations and their corresponding nodes by category contained in the view/annotation plane are swapped in Show space if needed.
    • The annotations contained of other view/annotation planes and these view/annotation planes themselves are swapped in No Show space.
  2. Right-click another view/annotation plane in the specification tree and select Display View.

    • The view/annotation plane is now the active one.
    • The previous view/annotation plane displayed if identified with a light purple background in the tree, according to the Track history of displayed views and captures option.
